My research focuses on the theoretical cosmology of the primordial universe, with a particular emphasis on cosmic inflation, its modelling, and its predictions.
This includes the formation of primordial black holes from large density fluctuations and the associated gravitational-wave background, both of which provide valuable insights into the universe’s origins and initial conditions. In this context, I am especially interested in the use of effective methods to describe the backreaction of quantum fields on the inflationary background, such as the stochastic inflation formalism.
Additionally, I am also keen on more formal aspects of quantum field theory in curved spacetime.
